my favourite childhood film

i feel an oddly familiar sensation when i watch this movie

his eyes his face are illumined,

the resonance i feel to this is beyond anything else i've felt

i feel just like sarah, wondering through a huge maze

a little mouse scurrying along trying to figure out life and the world

the world 

revealing itself slowly

her eyes opening

to the dangers and reality of men

the way they really are

how they're portrayed in disney films

so far 

so inaccurate

from the realities

the perverse

that in time ive come to embrace

the perversities of life

the sadism of life

it's all welcomed

it's all to be embraced, funnily enough

yin and yang 

as sick as that may sound

it is life

life is sick

life is terribly, terribly, sadistic

unfortunately you must learn to embrace all sides and aspects of life

otherwise you'd be a fool

you'd be an absolute fool
